Backing Board
We use Art-Bak - CONSERVATION as our backing board of choice.
Strong, smooth and rigid . . . Art-Bak benefits from a unique curve in the board, which will keep your artwork flatter in the frame, furthermore buffering with Calcium Carbonate guarantees they will remain pH Neutral for at least 300 years! It also has a water-resistant membrane for added protection plus the addition of a Conservation grade white barrier paper, which faces the artwork. Conforms to ISO9706, where archival use of acid free paper is required.
All this will ensure that your artwork and object remains free from pollutants, dust and most importantly humidity
