GUILD COMMENDED FRAMING QUALIFICATION
We have some great news - both Steve and James have passed their framing
exams to become the only Guild Commended Framers in the local area - congratulations!
What is a Guild Commended Framer?
A Guild Commended Framer has proven their ability to frame to the high standard set by the Fine Art Trade Guild. Passing the test confirms their skills and abilities and gives them a reputable standing in the industry.
What is the Fine Art Trade Guild?
The Fine Art Trade Guild is the international trade association established
in 1910 with objectives to inform, promote and develop the art and framing
industry. The Guild is responsible for trade standards and qualifications,
including the GCF programme.
Why a Guild Commended Framer?
The GCF programme is internationally recognised as the qualification for
the framing industry. It confirms Steve and James' abilities to our customers,
as well as enhancing their own standing with the industry. Worldwide there
are only 1039 GCF framers and 17 in Dorset.
